Andrew Mann (Executive Producer)

Raised and educated in Australia, he started out with Coopers and Lybrand in 1988 gaining his Chartered Accounting designation in 1991. Mr. Mann has specialized in film financing for companies in Canada (in excess of $3 billon CAD) and more recently as the CFO for Infinity Media Inc. (2000 to 2004) and Inferno Entertainment (2005 to 2010) (an international Sales agent and producer) both of which are based in Los Angeles. During his Infinity tenure, Mr. Mann was responsible for the financial operations of the company and assisting in the financing, production and distribution activities for some 40 feature films costing approximately $400 million

Inferno was started in 2004 with Andrew joining in 2005 as a consultant and then CFO in 2006. Rapid growth saw the company becoming one of the premiere international sales agents in the world representing films with budget ranging from 2m to 60m. Inferno’s production arm was responsible for a number of films (THE WOMEN, THE EXPERIMENT, and HACHIKO amongst others) and his role ranged from budgeting, financial structuring, soft money management (all over the world) , withholding tax planning, production supervision, completion bond and bank financing closings amongst other matters.

Unlike production companies, working at the sales agent perspective saw a continuing stewardship of the films during collections until all aspects of financing were repaid including management of collection agents and stakeholder reporting. Film involvement ranged over all aspects of the film business from development to loan repayment- a full film life cycle.

Simultaneous to his tenure with Inferno, Andrew continued to structure and manage Freeway’s Australian distribution business from 2005 to 2008. During 2010 Andrew along with his partners formed Upload Films Tax Credit Fund LLC, a company specializing in financing tax credits in Louisiana with 35 loans closed cumulatively over $15m since its inception.

Andrew’s recent Executive Producer credits include SHADOW PEOPLE, TO KILL FOR ME, NOTHING TO FEAR, PAWN SHOP CHRONICLES, IN THE BLOOD, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, Shreveport, Outcast, Last Knights, Imperium, Urge, Ghosts of War and The Chaperone.
